|At what age can I start Driver Education ??
Students can begin the classroom curriculum at age 15yrs. and 9 months. The
behind the wheel segment of the course can only begin once the student obtains
their learner's permit at the minimal age of 16.
|When can I obtain my Driver's License ??
Students under the age of 18 must complete the entire Driver Education program
and have their learner's permit for a minimal of 6 months before taking the RMV
road test. The RMV requires the 6 month wait period in order for students to gain
on road experience and become proficient at the skills we teach behind the wheel.
|What is Parents Class ??
This 2 hour class is required by the RMV for parents/guardians of all students
under the age of 18. The purpose of the class is to inform parnets/guardians about
the content of the driver education curriculum, the Junior Operator's Law and the
driving skills and behavior that their children will be learning in our program. It is
important for parents/guardians to know the skills and behavior that they should be
modeling while driving in order to coach and mentor their children to be safe and
Parents completing the class will be given a Parental Curriculum Completion form
which should be retained for their records. The certificate is valid for 5 years from
the date of completion.

|What times are Driver Education Classes during regular school weeks ??
We offer "student friendly" classes during regular school weeks for a couple of
sensible reasons. Primarily, our schedule allows a student the ability to be home by
a reasonable time to complete academic responsibilities and not disrupt their
normal academic week schedule. Secondly, this also allows parents or those who
provide rides to class to be home early too !!
Please check our calendar for both regular school week and our "One and Done"
